As you all know from reading this blog, I am all about saving money and finding the right deal. I love the Internet for the reason that we can always find the right deals if we just take the time to look. I recently had one of my many UK readers email me and ask why I do not include more stuff for my overseas friends. Well my next few posts will be for them.

I always look for Discount Codes when I go to buy anything on the Internet. There are always coupons and codes if you take the time to look. I spent a little while on the Internet yesterday and found so many that my eyes hurt. I was looking for codes for the more popular stores in the UK. I ran across Waterstones Promotional Codes which offers a great discount for the online bookstore. They look like the equivalent to Barnes and Noble here in the United States.

When shopping on the Internet, be sure to shop around, unlike driving around store to store, you do not need to waste fuel to find the best prices. I also recommend that when shopping online, you make sure you are dealing with a reputable company and that you are using a secured connection before giving out your personal information. Part of being frugal is being smart and using the Internet for your shopping needs is not only smart it will save you the additional expense and time of driving around and wasting fuel.
